Stop procrastinating and start creating workshop at NOW Gallery

In our third workshop, we collaborated with Stefanie Sword-Williams and Daisy Morris, co-founders of That Feeling When podcast at the NOW Gallery, to help our community shift from thinking to feeling and creating from abundance.

During our workshop we explored when we create from fear and love, expressed through somatic practices, movement and breath work. Then we explored creative ideas through self-reflection and group work. We closed the session with a collective sharing of our learnings and a meditation.

Our group left with a renewed focus, felt brave and confident to take the next steps with their creative ideas.

As a whole group, we learnt that:

✨We spend too much time in our heads by overthinking and let the negative voice take up too much space.

✨ Feeling self-doubt, anxiety and fearful is a collective experience; not just an individual feeling.

✨We need to allow more time to reflect, breathe, move and just be.

✨We hold the power to unlock the creativity within ourselves if we can be courageous to show up and share ourselves with the world.

✨ Sharing and bouncing ideas with others give us confidence to bring our vision to a reality.

✨Moving our bodies before creating moves stagnant energy and gives us a renewed focus.

✨Our narratives and inner experiences shapes us. We must be kinder, more loving and trust the wisdom within us. The answers we are seeking reside in us - we have to attune inwards.

✨What could we create if we slowed down and allowed ourselves to be a work in progress? Instead of pouring our energy into what other people thought.
