Textures of Truth

Textures of Truth is an embodied journey to self-discovery, creative nourishment, and inner alchemy.

Our six-month, creative container is a sacred sanctuary for soulful, creative women who want to slow down, deepen their intuition, reconnect to pleasure, and nurture their inner child.

Welcome, my love, to Textures of Truth

A 6-month embodied creative journey for soulful creatives ready to reclaim their voice, soften into their body, and birth from truth.

You’ve found your way here for a reason, my love.

A quiet knowing. A whisper from within.

Something in your bones remembers

That you are made of colour, texture, movement, story, and soul.

Textures of Truth is a sacred sanctuary for your return.

A gentle unravelling.

A creative rite of passage.

An invitation to reclaim the voice of your skin, your wild knowing.

In this space, we slow down to listen.

We drop into the sacred intelligence of the body.

We create not to perform, but to remember.

This isn’t just a group course. It’s a temple of transmission.

This sacred space is designed to awaken the senses, regulate your nervous system, and help you remember how to feel again.

Through rituals, textures, and embodied creativity, you’ll touch parts of themselves long forgotten, and come home to life.

It is a weaving of self-discovery, inner alchemy, and creative nourishment.

A soft but powerful reclamation of the truths that live just beneath your surface.

  • You feel life through colour, texture, sound, and sensation

  • You’re curious to explore spiritual and creative practices to heal your inner child

  • You feel the Divine Feminine stirring within you, asking to be heard

The Invitation

is this course for you?

Textures of Truth welcomes soulful women who are devoted, curious, and open to their own becoming. The sensitives. The heart-centred. The creatives. The ones who long to belong to themselves, to beauty, to spirit. This is your sanctuary - a place to remember, reclaim, and rise.

You may gently land into one of these categories:

Creative beings: Artists, makers, writers, jewellery designers, textile artists, illustrators, dancers, weavers, fine-artists who are curious to connect deeper to their bodies, intuition and expand their imagination. To grow new bodies of work, to make-sense and discover rich meanings in their work.

World-weavers, dreamers, visionaries, activists, healers, therapists, and seekers, who want to deepen their practice, and build a more relational way of being, feeling and experiencing.

Curious, soulful, heart-centred, folks who want to be guided by their feminine intuition, heart energy and body wisdom rather than being stuck by their minds.

In our journey, together:

You will slow down to unravel the knots of self-doubt, deepen your intuition, taste the abundance of inspiration, and nourish your inner child.

Each week will consist of slow, somatic practices, meditation, journaling, dreaming, movement, discussion, and collective sharing.

Course Flow

 Opening ceremony + Orientation

We will gently arrive into the space, and co-create our group intention for the container together. You will be invited to share more about yourself, your intentions for journeying with us.

(October) Slow Pleasures

Slow down and awaken to the gentle textures of pleasure, presence, and body awareness.

This month invites you to notice the small glimmers and quiet moments around you.

You’ll explore soft, wholesome sensations and connect deeply with your moment-to-moment experience.

Using your body as a guide, you’ll create spaciousness to move through waves of sensation.

Together, we’ll build a practice of slowing down, savouring, and gathering inspiration.

(November) Unravelling the Spiral of Shame and Doubt

Explore how shame, fear, and self-doubt block your creative energy.

Through playful, embodied practices, you’ll gently unravel these inner knots.

Meet your inner critic with kindness and soften hard edges within.

This month invites you to listen deeply to your body’s wisdom.

Reclaim your creative voice and the right to be fully seen without apology.

(December) The Wisdom of the Mess

What if the mess is where the magic lives?

This month, you’ll explore failure not as a flaw, but as a fertile ground for creativity, growth, and truth.

Through spontaneous play and embodied expression, you’ll welcome chaos as part of the creative rhythm.

You’ll unlearn perfectionism, quiet the inner critic, and reconnect with the joy of making without needing it to make sense.

This is a celebration of process over polish—where mess becomes medicine.

 (January) Tapestries of Time

Reflect on the memories and stories woven into your body and heart.

You’ll gather inspiration from your past, present, and future selves.

Explore how time shapes your creative expression and sense of self.

Through constellations, movement, reflection, weave your personal tapestry of meaning.

This month helps you anchor in what nourishes and grounds your soul.

(February) Beauty as a Doorway

Step into beauty as a living doorway to abundance.

Practice connecting with Shakti, to awaken your inner divine feminine, heighten your sensory awareness, and embody beauty, power, and presence.

Beauty nourishes your soul, and brings you back to embodied presence, to the rich aliveness that fuels authentic expression, passion, and inspiration.

You’ll explore Shakti practices help you awaken to the power of the fullness of your creative energy. And learn how witness beauty in yourself and others as a gateway to truth, intimacy, and depth.

This month invites you to awaken to beauty’s Shakti to expand and heal.

(March) The Altar of Love

What wisdom does love hold for us? What in you yearns to be expressed?

This month is an invitation to return to what is central, sacred, and deeply needed. You’ll explore the creative force of love, not only as emotion, but as devotion, nourishment, and daily practice. Through writing, movement, and ritual, you’ll listen for what Spirit longs to speak through you.

What are you called to pour on the page? What truth is asking to be voiced?

Love becomes a source of courage when all feels lost, a gentle tether to what matters most. You’ll gather the gold collected along your journey, and begin to shape it into meaning, into offering. Your creative practice becomes a prayer, a way to honour the Divine, Nature, God, or Mystery moving through you. As you tend to your sacred altar of love, you’ll deepen trust in the unfolding of your path. This is a month to rest, to yield, to be nourished, and to remember that beauty and truth live in every part of you.

Closing Ceremony- Integration & Celebration

We gather one final time to honour all that has been stirred, shaped, and softened.

You’ll be invited to share your dreams and lay them gently on our co-created altar of love and truth.

Together, we’ll reflect on the journey, offer gratitude to our fellow traveller, and welcome what is beginning to bloom and expand.

You’re invited to share any creations, insights, or offerings that have emerged—and be witnessed in celebration.

We close in reverence, rooted in connection, and ready to carry our creative aliveness into the world.

Meet your texture archaeologist guide, Poonam

Hello, love. I’m Poonam, an interdisciplinary artist, somatic coach, and sacred space-holder devoted to the tender, transformative work of creative reclamation.

Through slow, soulful practices rooted in body-wisdom, ancestral memory, and Shakti energy, I guide artists, seekers, and visionaries back to their truth, gently, reverently, and with deep care.

My work is for those feeling the quiet call to reconnect with their intuition, unravel self-doubt, and create from the sacred within.

I draw from the body-based wisdom of Somatic Experiencing, the fierce tenderness of Shakti, the deep lineage of my Punjabi ancestors, and the mystic-artist within, the one who knows that the body is an oracle, and creativity is a prayer.

My creative practice lives inside:

  • The textures of home, longing, and belonging

  • The constellations of time, memory, and sacred ancestry

  • The slow sanctuary of healing and collective dreaming

Think of me as your creative doula, a companion at the threshold, and a texture archaeologist, here to midwife your emergence with devotion and delight.

To journey with me is to enter a sacred field where your body’s wisdom rises, your creativity is reclaimed, and your truth becomes textured, whole, and alive.

You are not too much. You are ready.
Let’s weave beauty from your truth.

What my clients say:

“Our work felt radical and healing. I'm feeling more confident in my practice and have learnt (and re-discovered) so much about myself as an artist and woman. The session felt powerful as it helped to reflect on my processes and methodologies with someone who genuinely understands how important they are for me.”

— Artist

“Our members felt entirely supported by Poonam through the session, and this was a rare occasion for creative-led wellbeing and encouragement which did not focus on 'the grind'. A rare and much needed space for reflection, encouragement and realising that you are indeed on the right journey.”

— Senior Project Manager, Metal Arts

“Poonam is a beam of light. She holds a safe, beautiful, cocoon to connect with yourself, let go and explore what's coming up for you in a place with no judgment and process how you're feeling. Somatic coaching has resonated with me on a deeper level, more than any other coaching/ therapy ever has. I am so grateful for the space you created for me to heal, to come back to myself, and to become the more authentic version of myself that I've always been. I didn’t know it was possible to connect with myself in a deep way.”

- Jewellery designer + curator

“Poonam offers radical facilitation to help you find the right answers and ask the right questions. She truly cares, and is commitment to see you develop. It felt radical and both healing working with you, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Life feels less heavy. I'm definitely feeling more confident in my practice and have learnt (and re-discovered) so much about myself as an artist and woman. I'm also enjoying being more connected with my inner child. I'm now making conscious efforts to further nurture her and it's the best thing that could ever happen!”

- Zine Artist + Facilitator

“Poonam’s sun-like energy supported me through the process. Her capacity to hold what is and value it and see it for its richness is healing to experience in itself. I felt a deep sense of being seen and validated in my existence. Being seen as a poet and an artist without needing to justify anything, too.”

— Poet & artist

“The depth of your space-holding and our unique connection meant I could truly sink in. I feel true understanding from you and more of me reveals itself. I loved myself more - my feet feel more planted on the ground. I stopped online dating as it just became so so clear to me that its just not it for me. I'm gliding through life differently - there's even more softness, even more depth and a knowing that this is just the beginning.

There is an other worldly quality to your world and your work that is so palpable. it's very special to be in close proximity to you - its a blessing. I'm just so incredibly grateful.”

- Feminine Embodied Coach + Healer

“Working with Poonam was like receiving the warmth and wisdom of women, family, intergenerational beliefs and ideas.  A deeply nurturing experience. Poonam’s suggestions for reconnecting with my creative practice involved deep exploration and play in my studio.

The methods were a completely new way of working. Themes and ideas emerged, she made me see the many strands to my creativity that I hadn't been aware of before and encouraged me breathe life into them.

Poonam has an innate awareness, sensing the energy shifts and anticipating my needs at any moment. She helped me connected with what I was feeling and what I needed.

I felt so safe, heard and understood. The safety that I felt with you meant I could be truly open with you. ”

- Fine Jewellery Artist

“Poonam was absolutely flawless in every way. She held the space with innate charm and gravitas, and created a space which allowed people to share openly and vulnerably.”

— Account Director, Saatchi & Saatchi

Course details

Group size: Only 8 spaces available for this programme.

Duration: 20 live sessions over a 6-month period.

Cost: £2,000 (early bird) or £2,550 (general). Pay in full or six monthly payments.

The soil of this course is rooted in slow, bottom up processing and experience first. The workshops will be woven with feeling, making, free-writing, drawing, silence, contemplation, prayer, movement, reflection, meditation, and collective sharing.

We allow things to gently land, unravel, emerge and unfold open to take up space. We release the notions of urgency, goals, and perfectionism. We allow ourselves to be an evolution in progress.

Our intention is to trust the flow and be present in the process, not to strive on creating a "perfect" outcome.

Virtual space: hosted on Zoom, sessions will be recorded and uploaded onto my website. You will be invited to access Telegram, 7 days before the orientation session.

There will also be an optional in-person gathering mutually agreed by participants.

Slow space: This is deep transformative work. We need slow pacing, regular practice, and commitment. Integration requires slowness and spaciousness.

Participation: As this experience is interactive, I encourage you to join live, so we can co-create a magical field together. I invite you to share your voice, your heart, your heart, and receive the love and support of being witnessed in your process in a nurturing space.

Space and Participation Guidelines

    • Respect time: allow yourself enough time to join our sessions promptly. Late arrivals disrupt the flow of the session and space. I will not accept late joiners 10 minutes after the session has begun.

    • Show up live: for the group experience, I encourage to show up live for all the sessions.

    • Cameras on: one of the key aspects of facilitating an embodied space is that I need to see your faces and body languages to sense the space and attune to the somatic information that comes from body language. I kindly ask you to keep your cameras on, you are welcome to switch off for a short time, for instance if you need to pop to the loo, make a cuppa, grab a snack.

    • Share your reflections either just with me or the group for your integration process.

    • I will gratefully appreciate a testimonial two-weeks after our journey ( this can be written or recorded, both are most welcome.)

    • More house rules will be shared with during the orientation.

    • Creative tools: crayons, coloured pencils, paints, scissors, paper etc

    • Comfort and support: a photograph of a loved one or soothing object

    • Reflection tools: a journal and pen

    • Space : to lay down and move freely

    • Softness: blankets, cushions and wear something comfortable

    • Fragrance: candles and incense

    • Hydration and snacks: water, tea, coffee, snacks

    • Privacy: to speak openly, share and listen

    • Turn up as you are. All of you is welcome as you are.

    • Allow your eyes to rest by looking away from the screen - you don’t need to show attention by looking at the screen.

    • Trust your pacing and feel into your capacity. You do not have to engage in any movements or reflections, you are welcome to sit and soften in silence.

    • Music and movement will be present in our spaces.

    • Connecting to our bodies and breath can sometimes surface feelings, and emotions. You may realise this type of grounding isn’t supportive for your needs. Please listen to what you need and pay attention to what feels good and safe in your body.

    • Letting go of fixing and striving for perfection: Imagine that nobody in the room needs fixing, including yourself.

    • Kindness: Be kind to yourself, others, and our spaces.

    • Honour the sacred: Some sensations, experiences and feelings can’t be spoken or shared. Savour those precious moments and let them rest within you.

    • Slow down: Attune to what is happening within you, breathe and pause. Feel the vibe of the space, sensations within your body, the rhythm of your breath

    • Self-focus: Share your own thoughts, feelings, observations, and experiences. Don’t speak for others or assume the experience of others.

    • Easy does it: Try not to pack too much into the rest of your evening. Allow spaciousness as the evening unwinds.

    • We do not tolerate any BS behaviour. We have a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination, period. We welcome all bodies of culture and respect the diverse lived experience, nuances, and backgrounds of our community. There is no space for "-ists", "-isms", or "-phobias." We reserve the right to remove anyone from our space if they are causing harm in the space.

    • I, Poonam, will lead these workshops as a somatic coach, artist and creative facilitator.

    • It does not offer continuous 1-2-1 support, address trauma or mental health challenges.

    • I am a qualified somatic coach, a multidisciplinary artist and creative facilitator, with a deep interest in texture constellations, ceremony, ritual, prayer and the cycles of nature.

    • I will bring somatic facilitation to the workshop to enable you to explore meaning in what you create. My intention is to create a cosy cocoon and nourishing atmosphere and hope to provoke thought and a richer space for you to gain a new or deeper understanding of your inner world. You may share as much or as little as you like.

    • Our work is always an invitation. While we will be engaging in somatic practices, meditation and creative practice, this programme does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental health challenges or trauma.

    • Our programme will not be group therapy, and is not to be replaced for any therapeutic support you may already be receiving. You may, however, find it therapeutic.

    • Closed captioning will be available. If there are any access needs you'd like us to consider for future sessions let me know.

    • If you need any additional support, have any questions or thoughts, please email me, Poonam on poonam@ysm8.co.uk

    • This programme is designed to help shift you from thinking and creating from scarcity, to feeling and experiencing abundance. Through integrating the embodied practices, you will be inspired, supported and resourced to create in your own rhythm.
